A voluntary advertising gambling ban of CA operators
CA four large betting operators have come to the agreement to a free-will ban on advertising free stakes and free money on TV before 9p.m. or as it is called the watershed time.
As the newspaper Financial Times informs, among these operators are Ladbrokes, William Hill, Coral and Paddy Power. These gambling operators are ready to uphold the new intention to help lessen public worries as to the influence of gambling advertisements on a younger generation of football fans watching matches live on TV.
This step was made after the English Premier League (EPL) high level club football competition revealed its worries about betting and the number of services offered by the gambling operators.
The EPL has urged to set some injunctions control betting live ads due to the concerns that it could cause putrid behaviour.
Although, such actions can become the reason for a dispute between William Hill and English Football Association (FA) authorities as to their partnership due to the fact that William Hill is a sponsor of FA Cup in local club competitions.
The FA and EPL refused to comment this new free-will advertising ban.
This action appeared just after iGaming Business informed that four operators also supported a free-will intention as a part of an engagement to guarantee more responsible advertisement.
